A lot of people don't tend to think of boating when they consider a vacation in the Kissimmee area. After all, it's in central Florida! But, it also happens to be nestled in amongst some of the finest and most beautiful lakes the state has to offer. A quiet little place like Joe Overstreet Boat Ramp will give you access to Lake Kissimmee. It has two ramps, and nearby are camping and picnic areas. If you don't mind a short drive to St. Cloud, the St. Cloud Fishing Pier and Marina has a ramp onto East Lake. So, boating, fishing and wildlife viewing are all available. On the other hand, if you want to zip out into the swamps and bayous of central Florida, try Airboat Rentals right on U.S. 192.
