As a coffee aficionado, I find it very necessary to map out the best places
for coffee while on vacation. I see it as an essential part of my routine and
one that will ensure my leisure time is enjoyed to its absolute fullest- plainly
and most importantly for the fact that it is feeding my caffeine addiction! An
affinity for coffee can be a unifying experience and in the spirit of caffeine
assistance to my fellow coffee lovers, I have created a list of my Top 5 Coffee
shop choices in the Mammoth Lakes, California area.
5) World Cup Coffee. This local business provides excellent
coffee to its patrons in a relaxed and comfortable setting. World Cup also
offers bakery goods and novelty gift items for their guests.
4) Stellar Brew, providing out-of-this-world coffees that
will be appreciated by all. In addition, the business also sells fresh deli
items. An extra bonus is that the store may very well appeal to coffee lovers
and environmentalists alike! This shop proudly boasts the title of being a
"Green Business" with Mammoth Lakes, CA in part for the Sierra Conservation
Project.
3) Schat's Bakery and Cafe. Located on Main Street in
Mammoth, this well-known establishment is famous for its delicious regular and
specialty coffees, as well as its premium bakery goods. A patron can enjoy
regular blends, cappuccinos, European hearth breads, bagels, muffins and much
more.
2) Sierra's Best Coffee, located in the
Sierra Center Mall and provides excellent coffee beverages for the true
aficionado. The store also offers computer access, bakery items and novelty
gifts. Excellent choice!
1) Looney Bean This coffee
shop and roaster provides the customer with the utmost in premium blends of
coffee that are roasted right on site. The friendly local establishment has
become a success in Mammoth and with good reason! Indoor and outdoor seating
accommodations have made this a favorite hangout for locals and repeat visitors. You can even purchase favorite coffee beans from the website!
Like I said, you will never be without an eye-opener in Mammoth Lakes! And once you get that fourth cup you can go explore the rest of the mountain!
