Off-Season in Naples=Amazing Winter Holiday for You!

Naples, Florida is one of those places that's quite an exciting place to visit because of the amount of things you can do.  If you're going to go in the November-to-January time frame, while the beaches may not be the place to visit, the attractions there and the things to do are to die for!  Now, chances are, the question going through your head is: "why do I care about Naples, Florida in winter?  What am I going to do?"  Well, that all depends on your interests.

Let's assume that sports are a big deal to you.  If you were to go to Naples in July, you wouldn't get to see the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins train because they'd be traveling around the country trying to win baseball games.  But, if you were to go in the winter, you could go and see those teams training.  They're based right in Naples!  Come on, you can't beat that.  Baseball players during training?  Talk about an easy way to get some autographs.

And golfing!  Naples proclaims itself  the "Golf Capital of the World."  They have over 80 championship golf courses in the area. Now that's a lot of golf!

Sports not your cup of tea?  Then look more at the environmental side of things.  There's so much to do if you're interested in animals and conservation and things of that nature (no pun intended!).  Naples is brimming with land preserves; check out Everglades National Park, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, and even the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge.  (Last I checked, a panther is an awesome creature that you might be able to see up close because of where you are!)

Now, there's one other reason why you want to check out Naples in the winter months: Not a lot of people are going to be in Naples during this time.  Naples has some amazing beaches, but because it hits sixty sometimes in these colder months, the sun-seeking tourists tend to skip the winter season.  For you, that translates to less crowded streets and attractions, and off-season discounts.

Because it's winter, you could even go down there for your holidays.  It's cheaper to rent a house for a week because it's the off-season,  and you can make it your home away from home for that time.  If you were to rent a house and everyone flew down there for the week, holidays would be great!
