1.    Sightseeing.  The sightseeing in the area is phenomenal.  Newberry National Volcanic Monument is only a few miles away and offers awesome geologic phenomena, such as lava caves, obsidian flows, and the lava cast forest.  A drive down the Cascade Lakes Highway gives beautiful views of the lakes and rivers.
